Goals
- Be consistent and diligent in your running and core work.
- Pick up your "base pace," what you're running on MWF. Thanks to your training, this pace is faster than when you started. Test yourself; push yourself.
- By the end of "Week 9," figure out your mile pace for your "base pace" and e-mail it to me...this is really important for the following weeks of training!

Kate, I already emailed and said one of my problems was remembering track day. So, I'm plastering it on my wall RIGHT NOW to remember tomorrow. Since I haven't been, I don't know--Are you still there to help people either in the morning or evening? Or has everyone been on their own since you were there the first time to show them the ropes? If you are still there coaching, what time do you meet? You said your schedule changed, so mornings we're on our own, but are you still meeting in the evening? Around 7-7:30? Thanks, Veronica
ReplyDeleteA group meets at 6am. They know what they're doing, so they can totally help you out. I haven't been meeting anyone at night since the first night no one showed. If a night group wants to meet, I'd be happy to come out.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kate. Everyone, we are planning to run together on saturdays, right? Maybe last saturday was just an "out of the ordinary" schedule. . . If so, what time is everyone planning on meeting this coming saturday? I'm hoping to be finished running and home by 9, that would give us a solid 2 hours to meet, run, workout/stretch, get home etc, if we meet at 7am. I'm happy to meet earlier, just don't know what your plans are. Kate, if no one sees this comment, will you post this so everyone can see/respond? THANKS!!! Veronica
ReplyDeleteThis last Sat was different because a lot of us went to the RS temple day that morning. I'll definitely post the 7am run time and course for this Sat....9 miles!! :)
ReplyDeleteVeronica and Kate:
ReplyDeleteI am leaving town on Sat. so I won't be able to join the Sat. group. Lena and I are going to run our 9 miles on Fri. morning at 5:00 am. Crazy I know, but you do what you have to do! If anyone wants to go, call me 310 214-2219 as I probably won't check this site again tonight.
Wow I can't believe we are already up to 9 miles. I won't be there on Sat and 9 miles solo sounds long. Kate, could you fill me in on the race details, where is the run, when should I register. I have a friend that has been training and wants to join us. Thanks for your encouragement.
