Warm-up: 1 mile

400 in 2:15
200 recovery
400 in 2:15
400 base pace
800 in 4:30
400 base pace
400 in 2:15
200 recovery
400 in 2:15
400 base pace 
800 in 4:30
1200 base pace
400 easy jog/warm-down
STRETCH!

  1. Holy Cow!! I think you're delirious! Is it the pregnancy? You surely lost track while you were writing all those 400's! I'm scared!!

  2. yeah, maybe it's the hormones. :) but you're only going "hard-ish" for 4 of the 400s...and it's all only 5 miles total. piece of cake! :)

  3. Ok, I have to admit, it's do-able! My times for the 400's were good, but my two 800's were a bit slow. (4.41 and 4.52) I'll have to pick that up a bit. Frankly, I'm surprised that I did as well as I did. All thanks to you Kate!! I truely thought you were crazy as I was writing the workout down. It was just a lot of numbers and they kept getting bigger!! Thanks!!
